Went to the Mitten brew after a long day and a good bout at fencing. You walk into this little brewpub and the staff is all smiles and people are talking about the good ole things. This is why we love beer. The service is friendly the food is delicious. One thing about me is I am kind of picky about what my beer is served in, and I hate the tumbler glass, but you can't damn them for doing the norm.

Appearance: Dark black with a light off white slightly tan head. You can tell the carbonation is going to be light.

Aroma: Roasted coffee, with a biscuitty nose.

Flavor: Roast is the first thing you are greeted with, followed by a biscuit and nutty presence.

Mouthfeel: This beer has a medium low body and light carbonation with a creamy texture.

On a side note I promptly went to Founders and grabbed a snifter of DOOM! Yes it was delicious. My advice if you picked up one of the bottles is to sit on it for three years. It will probably be nectar of the gods!
